Delta Iota Chapter, Mercer University

 

Alpha Phi Omega is a non-profit organization. The purpose of this fraternity is to assemble college students in a national service fraternity in the fellowship of principles derived from the Scout Oath and Law of the Boy Scouts of America; to develop leadership, to promote friendship and to provide service to humanity; and to further the freedom that is our national, educational and intellectual heritage.

 

Alpha Phi Omega is the single most representative undergraduate intercollegiate organization in the United States of America. We take pride in this and want to be even larger. We determine to be larger only because, if what we are and what we represent are important and useful to students, then we should share what we have in order to further our common goals more effectively. We want to share with colleges and universities all across this great land the benefits that Alpha Phi Omega gives to students, their campuses and their communities. The Delta Iota chapter of Alpha Phi Omega has been committed to serving our community since 1946.

 

Alpha Phi Omega, is a group of volunteers who have a common goal: Improvement of ourselves and the world around us. Through volunteerism and service to the nation, our communities, our colleges, and our individual chapters, we foster the principles of leadership and friendship.

 

Since our inception in 1925, Alpha Phi Omega has grown to more than three hundred thousand brothers across the country and over seven hundred chapters not just around the country, but around the world. There are now chapters in Australia, Canada and the Philippines.

 

Alpha Phi Omega was founded on the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America, and although scouting affiliation is no longer required for membership, we strongly believe in the Scout Oath and Law. From these beginnings, we have derived our three cardinal principles: Leadership, Friendship and Service.ee to drag and drop me anywhere you like on your page.
